Looking for information on Jean Baptiste Pernet, son of Joseph and Marie (Viard) Pernet. He was born in Ponte Coupee around 1770 and died 1829. He owned Bon Air plantation on the Bayou DeSiard. He married Marie Henrietta Bonaventure 1790. She was the daughter of Francois and Marie Louise (Macon) Bonaventure. She was born 1774 in pointe coupee. If anyone has any information on any of the families please contact me.
