Hello,
I am looking for information on Tabitha Russ b. circa 1760-1770 where ??? m. Abraham Villeret circa 1780-1790 and resided in Pointe Coupee Parish, LA. She may have had a brother named Elijah, Eliah, or Abiah Russ, who named his daughter Tabatha as well. I found his record in the Mormon site, but there were no parents listed for him either. I have no idea where she was born, for Russ, which I believe to be a Brittish name, is a very uncommon name in this part of Louisiana, which is mostly French/Acadian French origin. Any help would be appreciated.
