Looking for any information on F.E. Neal born 1827 in North Carolina and/or his sons.
We know he had at least two sons: Thomas Franklin Neal born 1854 and James Jerome Neal born 1857 in Ark.
James Jerome Neal is listed on the 1880 census on Union Parish, La. He is listed as Roman Neal. His wife is Cebelle Wheat the daugther of James Wheat and Elizabeth Matilda. They have one son in 1880: William Ira Preston Neal born March 21, 1877 in Dawnville, La.
I can not find any census record with F.E. Neal -- I did find a land record in Rapides Parish, La where he owed taxes in 1884. He is living next door to John J. Neal - we do not know the relationship between F.E. and John J. - if there is one.
According to the family bible, F.E. Neal died in 1090 in Angelina County,Tx at the age of 82.
