Abraham Briggs Henderson of Spearsville, LA, & Junction City, AR.

I am looking for information on my g-grandfather Abraham Briggs Henderson, b. July 2, 1846, d. Jan 17, 1929, m. 1870, Union Co., AR, to Mary Virginia Arrington. They are buried in Roselawn Cemetery, Junction City AR.They had 15 children and I have their names and dates, four of whom are buried in Spearsville.

I understand that Abe Henderson was born in Spearsville, but I don't have his parents' names or dates. Abe Henderson was a store owner/banker in Spearsville and later in Junction City. I understand that he served in the Civil War, but I have no information on what unit he was with. Is there information on what units may have formed-up in the area? I will appreciate any information on this man's life and times.
