Does anybody know anything about Steven Whatley Taylor? He was born in Union Parish on Jan. 16,1865. He was the son of Elias Taylor and Caroline Hughes. He married Martha Francis Holloway also from Union Parish on August 21,1883. She was the daughter of Labon R. Holloway and Sarah Jane Henry.
Steven Whatley Taylor was killed during a train robbery. He was supposed to have been a passenger on a train and was thrown off the train during the robbery. The date of his death is Feb 26.1907. I don't know what state all of this was supposed to have happened in. I am trying to find his grave.
Martha Francis went on to marry Charlie Krauser. She and Charlie are buried in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe but I can't find Steven Whatley.
Steven Whatley and Martha Francis are my great grandparents. They are the parents of my grandmother Bertha Louise Taylor who married Charles Monroe Partin.
Any help in this will be a big help to me. Thanks
