Mr. Jenkins recently passed away. He had researched the Coker and Hennen families -- he was a descendant of Asa Coker -- and had put together a family tree, of which I have a partial copy.
He had also researched the location of a family burial area on land which Asa Coker had owned from 1855 or so to his death in 1876. This land was passed to his widow, Florida Gilbert Coker Redden. Unfortunately, his research regarding the location of the family cemetery appears to have died with him, with the exception that he believed it to be near the old home place in a small grove of pine trees.
If there are any Jenkins relatives out there, I'd like to know if he shared that information with you and also about the Coker/Jenkins ties.
