Still looking for Morel and Sally, they came from Georgia in about 1854 and settled in Ward 3 in Union Parish, near Marion. I have found them in the 1860 census, along came the war and Morel disapeared. Sally was later found in the 1870 census. No records of any type can be found on Morel, land, taxes, military. I have been up against a brick wall for several years, hopefully someone may have just a bit of info for me.
Morel and Sally are my 2nd great grandparents.
