Thanks for your reply, however I don't know if there is a connection.I have Lewis Ford Jr.and Alice Ward of that time period in Union Co. Louisiana. I have a John Ford and wife Susie, but can't establish a relationship. Other siblings of Lewis are:
Celia or Cecelia
Martha
Ella
Lizzie
Sam
Florence
Phillip
John
Fanny
Richmond
Green
By 1880 Most if not all lived on the Arkansas side of Union Co.
