In Mr. W.C. Nolan's book of his Cemetery Inscriptions of Union Parish Volume 1 I see where a Thomas J. COLE is buried at SARDIS Cemetery which is Hwy 33. The info listed is:
COLe, Thomas J. 19 Apr 1847 16 Dec 1916
Beside him is:
COLE, Eugenia SMITH (w/o T.J.Cole)
17 Aug 1855 04 Aug 1933
Is it possible Josephine died and he remarried? I remember looking Thomas Cole up not long ago for someone on the Union Parish mailing list.
