Just re-reading some posts, if you want some information go to the Widsor Library and ask for the Labadie Papers, or to Bell River Genealogy Center they have some information you might want to check into, such as the Bill of Sale for Mannon. We were told by more than one reseacher that Marie/Mary was a chiefs daughter but it didn't say what specific chief although it's commonly believed to be Pontiac. There are several accounts about the LaBadies being quite familiar with Pontiac and it wouldn't be hard to believe. Hope this helps. Cathy
