Joseph LaBelle B1835 Quebec

Am still seeking info on my Joseph LABELLE b1835 Quebec Canada to Antoine & Mary LABELLE.

He is first found in the 1850 US Census as a single 16 year old lumberman and is a boarder in Pittsfield, Brown County, WI. I can not find any other LABELLEs in the area in this census.

In 1870 US Census Joseph is found in Shawano, Shawano County, WI. He is married to his 2nd wife Mary Anne HULE/HOULE. His divorced 1st wife, Ellen Laura HOULE LABELLE (b1832 Green Bay, Brown County, WI.) is found in Oshkosh, Outagamie County, WI with their 3 daughters, Roseanna "Rosa" b1859, Pauline "Polly" b1863, & Victoria b1865.

In 1880 US Census Joseph is found in Ft. Howard, Brown County, WI still with his 2nd wife and working as a stone & brick mason.

I have been looking for more info on Joseph LaBelle, his ancestors AND the 2 daughters, Pauline & Roseanna for over 5 years and have not been successful. All help is greatly appreciated. I descend from the youngest daughter, Victoria.
Happy 2005,
Dale
