Bonjour Brothers Christian,
I wish to express on behalf of all Laberges everywhere and anyplace our profound thanks for your kind and generous proposed assistance. There was serious concern because it is presumed that your extremely excellent advanced education has marred your potential translation due to the creeping into your words of the dreaded Parisian French. As you know, our objective is to maintain the French-Canadian character of the words and phrases of our beloved Piere-Lionel.
However, due to our current absence of breathing volunteers it was unamonously approved by secret ballot to let you try your hand at two chapters. If you do a good job and both remain sober for a suitable length of time, consideration will be given to allowing you to do further work provided you maintain your insanity.
I should warn you that we have contacted the real Christian Brothers who deny your membership in the Religious Order and were considering a search of Canon Law to bar your use of the term. Fortunately, I was taught by the Christian Brothers in College and presently reside in an area thick with them. They have relented, but only after I promied a big donation. I will soon be seeking donations from all to satisfy this obligation to save our heritage.
Please ignore all of the above taking into account that I have just finished a measure of hops and malt beyond my capacity and required a break from the seriousness of our combined efforts.
Welsome aboard and thanks.
Ron
