Crystal, I am not positive that this is the correct line, but it appears so.
1.Thomas Lackey1744 (Ireland)-30 April 1842 (Iredell, NC)m. Margaret Stevenson(1756-1855)
1.1James Silas Lackey1776-1814 Iredell, NC
1.1.1William Lackey24 June 1800-17 March 1873
1.1.1.1Thomas James LackeyJan 6, 1836-Sept 2, 1904
1.1.1.1.1Samuel Small LackeyJanuary 2, 1878-July 21, 1937It isn’t clear whether his birthday was January 2, or 22.His WWI draft registration card looks like January 2.
You can ignore the numbers, I just used them to seperate generations. It looks like your line comes from the Lackey-Stevenson clan in Iredell, NC.There is a host of information on the internet about the Lackeys from Iredell, which started with three brothers.I am not connected to that line, but with this information, you ought to be able to sort it out.Good luck.
