Hello, I also have Lackners in my family from Germany and or Hungary...I'm trying to find out. My great grandfather was named Frank Lackner, Him and his sister Mary came over. As far as our family knows his brother Peter did not. It's said that Frank was born in Podova, Italy but was definitely German. Mary later became a Strawitch and lived in NY until she died in 1986. Frank married Ursula Anna Majestic and lived in Newfield, NY. Ursula went by either that or Anna. They had several children. Apparently she had sisters to. Frank was born in 1888, Mary in 1894, Anna/Ursula 1893 0r 1894. If any of this sounds familar please write me back at my email address. It's been a hard search, I'm hoping to find something...Thanks Rhonda email :
