Hello Normand,
I am amazed! I am currently working on this exact name, and up popped your message. I also heard from someone else just this week in Marquette, Michigan who did turn out to be related, and she is also working on Julius LaCombe.

The names you list are very very close. I am looking for the son of Julius who is Peter (Pierre) born in 1851 in New York, who was married to Emma Scheffler who originally came from Prussia and married Peter in Canada in 1873. She Immigrated to Canada in 1854 from Prussia, and then after marriage, she and Peter moved to the USA in 1889.

This seems too close to be a coincidence. What documentation do you have on your names? Could Joseph and Julius be the same person?

Can you give me your e-mail address so that we can communicate directly? Mine is
