Robert, Hello cousin,
I do not know. I believe that the museum you refer to is the Cabildo. Where was the land located? I bet it was in Pointe Coupee. I think that Nicolas de la Cour obtained land in Pointe Coupee after he left the Natchez area after the Indian massacre. I remember hearing something about this. He made enough money off of the land in Pointe Coupee to buy more land, etc.
When I am able to find all my "stuff" I want to see how we are related. Did you know Hardy Lacour?
