I'm also Richard A (Arlynn) Lacquement. son of Delbert Sullins (and Cora Evalyn Whitlock) son of Ernest Salomon (and Nellie Evelyn Sullins) son of Francois (and Martha Thallman) son of Pierre Joseph (and Maria Josephine Touke). Out branch of the clan was clustered in Illinois around Collinsville and that is one of the few towns in which I've found Lacquements listed in the phone book. Back in the mid 1960's I got some genealogy info from Edward Charles Lacquement in Alberta, Canada that has served as good source material.
My dad, Delbert, was also a Methodist minister and it was while he was serving in Centralia, Ill that someone brought a truck load of oil pipe up from Texas and when he signed in at the Shell offices they said his was an unusual name but that their pastor had the same name. He came across the street and that was the first my Dad know of family living in Oklahoma and Texas. Now we tell folks that if someone has the same spelling as Lacquement, they are family.
I too would be interested in having some kind of Lacquement forum to exchange poop. I've heard there are some of our family in Collinsville working on genealogy - I'll try to get in touch with them.
