LACQUEMENT (Lacquenent) in OK...
My g-uncle, Lewis Albert Garner (aka Albert), was married to Daisy Myrtle Lacquenent (1884 - 1948). It was always told that Daisy was a French woman and her family came from Canada. Albert & Daisy moved from MO to OK and lived in Lincoln, Pottowatomie and Okfuskee counties, other Lacquement families lived in the area as well. I have been trying to trace the Garner family with no results and I was wondering if there might be a connection in our families.
