I'm a descendant of Martin Hewlett/Jane Moseley of Virginia who settled in Hopkins Co. KY by 1806. Martin had a sister Martha Hewlett who had married William Hughes Lacy of Goochland Co. Virginia in 1787 and they migrated to Caldwell Co, KY.
Recently I was in Madisonville last summer & came upon these Va Lacy's in Caldwell Co and the marriage of Amos Lacy in Hopkins Co KY and realized Amos and Elisha were Brothers! There are other Lacy children who married in Princeton, and others in Hopkins County,KY.

I believe they had about 7, 8 or 9 children who became of age after arriving in Western Kentucky. Wm Hughes Lacy died in Caldwell Co in the year 1814. He left a Will along with an Estate Appraisement. Martha Hewlett Lacy had 3 children (a daughter and 2 sons or 1 son and 2 daughters?) marry in Princeton to whom she had to give her consent for being underage. Amos was of age when he married in Hopkins County about 1820-1822. I was told by another Lacy descendant of Stephen Lacy I've met that Martha Hewlett Lacy left Kentucky and migrated to Alabama where she died around the year 1831.

I have the parents of Martin & Martha Hewlett (Hewlett Siblings) along with other Hewlett siblings if you want to contact me and exchange further information.
