John Lacy, md Rebecca Taggart, Nov 1819

I'm looking for evidence on when John Lacy migrated from Laurens,SC to Randolph County, IL. This John Lacy married my great grandmother, Rebecca Taggart on 30 Nov 1819, apparently at New Palestine, IL (although there are records that they were married in Abbeville, SC.)
A booklet, "Some Taggart Families in Illinois and South Carolina," by Mary Lou Soule (Winfield, KS, 1978)says that John Lacy was among South Carolinians who came to IL in 1804, but doesn't cite evidence.
That booklet also includes a few pages on an Andeson family closely allied with the Taggarts. In this section is included the following sentence,'
" A group of 31 inter-related persons arrived to the Irish Settlement Randolph Co. Dec 25, 1804 from Abbeville, SC."
There is also a reference to a "Sparta List; does this list include the Lacy family?
