I have a Patrick LACY born, born ~1790 but married Margaret UNKOWN. He was listed as a merchant. I think his wife died because he moved close to his brother James in PA where he lived alone for a time (census data). He lived most of his latter life in Armstrong County, PA. I also have note that he remarried later in life in PA, though I do not have any detailed info. He had a brother, James and and sister Catherine. His brother James is direct in my line. I have a land deed where he was a partner in farming with his nephew James, son of his brother James in PA. I think it very likely he could have also named his son James, if it is the same Patrick as your inquiry.

This Patrick LACY born, ~1790, DIED June 28, 1877 in Sugar Creek Township, Armstrong Country, PA

Happy to share / confirm what I have with you.
