Steve,

Great to see continued focus on the New Kent group. I've been working a particular line (off and on) for 30 years, focused on Philemon Lacy, (b 1749), married to Esther Daniel. After marrying Esther, he moved his family to eastern Tennessee and started the Lacy descendants from that area. Philemon is my 6th great grandfather. I have a fair amount of material from Philemon on down, but proving who his parents were has been a challenge. I'm pretty sure its William Lacy, born 1725, perhaps married to Sarah Johnson, and that it leads into the New Kent line. Many commentators trace it up a Thomas Lacy line, but I don't agree.

Anyway, your research would be of great interest to me. Anything you can send to me would be greatly appreciated, and of course, anything I may have from Philemon on down would be my pleasure.

I can be reached at flowerstone.mexico@gmail.com.

Best regards

Robert K. Lacy (Bob)
