thank you so much for this information!

What you found on familysearch.org could be the one, as my father grew up in Aroostook County, Maine, not so far away from Eagle Lake...

Out of the others, number 1 seems the most possible. 7 would have had to be 12 when my dad was born, and I think the others died too late.

Too bad I don't have any other information to go on... those who would have known have now passed... if anyone knew any of these Normands and would give me more info that would be appreciated!
