My mom is a Laferriere. i have just recently completed the entire geneology research on the Laferriere family dating back to the 1700's. If anyone is interested in having a copy of the information or needs any information answered i will be glad to share or send it to you.
My gradfather was Lionel Laferriere (born in Lowell as Joseph Emanuel Lionel laferriere) son of Narcisse laferriere who was the son of Norbert Laferriere and Angeline Mousseau. Norbert laferriere's dad was also named norbert laferriere who was married to Julie Jubinville.
One thing i knowis the son norbert laferriere was married twice. His first wife was Angeline Mousseau and his second wife after his first passed away was Marie Lambert.
