My great grandmother was Laura(or Laure) LaFerriere of
St. Paul Quebec. I know St. Paul was the parrish, but I don't know what town it is in. She was native american,
probable of the Cree Nation, or the Metis. Her father was
Felix LaFerriere and her mom was Clara Herbert.
Does anyone out there have any connection to this family,
or any info that would help in my search???
Laura LaFerriere married Henry Thare Toussaint and moved from Quebec to St.Johnsbury, Vermont where they had 12 children and lived out their lives.
My grandmother, Laura Toussaint was one of the 12 children.
She married Joseph Peter Frederick Blay(Blais),
A.K.A. Fred P. Blay. they lived in Barton, Vermont and had several children, my mom, Pauline was one of them.
