Hello again all my cousins; I know I must seem dense but i am a little lost in all this remarrying and name re-use.
Have we established specifically with recorded data the names of Hildege and Eugenie's parents being F.X. Hervieux/ Emilie Genereux, and Norbert Laferriere/ Julie Jububinville respectively? AND has there been any continuation to these lines?
As to the Julie/Angeline confusion...in French Canadian patoise the sylabble 'AN' is almost nasalated and swallowed so someone name "Angeline" (in French Anjoline) the first vocated sound would be the J..hence Julie...thirteen years of public school french hasnt really helped me much talking to potential Quebecoise relatives it is a very difficult dialect to listen to.

Brian Guder ;grandson of Arthur Hervieux aka Alfred Davis: great grandson of Hildege and Eugenie
