Thanks for responding. I am always eager to hear from
another La Force descendant.
I believe there is a copy of the Draper Manuscript at
the Mich. Historical Society. Of course, this is not like seeing the original, but at least you can read the interview
Agnes gave.
It has been stated by some that they came from the State of
NC to KY but I am not convinced that is what it meant:
she said something to the effect that they came from the
Great Commonwealth===VA was a Commonwealth.
If you do get to read it, also look for the interview
by the Mahan sister.
