Bonjour Ghislain,

I am directly decended from Thomas Lahey and his wife Catherine. Their son - Jean Lahaie married Mary Swarton. They were captives by the French during the French and Indian Wars and brought back to New France. I am decended through them through their daughter Marie-Sylvie Lahaie who married Jacques Benoit dit Laguerre in St-Laurent. I am not sure who the parents were of Thomas Lehay. I think we would have to go to Irish records for this. If you find out any information please let me know. If you need some more information regarding Jean Lahaie and Mary Swarton let me know.

Richard Benoit
