Hi Ghislain,

I am also decended from Thomas Lahey. My ancestor is Jacques Benoit dit Laguerre who married the daughter of Jean Lahaie and Marie Swarton. They were captured in New England and brought back to New France. The town that Jean Lahaie was born in was Tallow, Ireland. It is not far from Waterford. If you find out any information on his father Thomas Lahey please let me know.

Merci
Richard Benoit
