Ronni,
Not sure whether there is any correlation to either M. Babcock or P. Leahey and my family but I thought it was worth a shot. My greatgrandfather, JOHN LEAHEY, emigrated from Tipperary and settled Cambria County,Pennsylvania (Lilly). Based on what little I know of my family tree, I can't recall a New York connection. However, my fathers cousin, Tom Moyer, has investigated the "JOHN LEAHEY" (Dr .Francis (grandfather), Alma, Agnes, Caron, Pauline...) branch and may be of some help. If interested, maybe I can put you in touch with him.

Happy Hunting,
Michael Leahey
