Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My name is Leahey. Our family did a Geneolgy study which included 1500 names. The family of Irish Catholics came over with the help of the British(Peter Robinson Expedition) in 1823 from County Cork. We spread far and wide from our landing point in Ontario/Quebec.The answer to the question you asked is YES with a capital Y. These kind of problems manifest themselves with age. There are both name spellings in the tree.
