I am sure you know that the Lahy/Lahey clan is distinct from the more common Leahy name. The Laheys are more common to Kilkenny county while the Leahys are more predominent in SW Ireland: Kerry, Cork, etc. If you haven't already done so I suggest you contact Rothe House, Kilkenny Town for more info.
