Hi Pat,
In answer to your June posting.... Our big mystery is how and if our Leahy/ey families of Huntley and Peterboro are related. We know that some were. Most of mine direct line came to Huntley in 1823 as part of the Peter Robinson plan from County Cork Ireland. A few nephew/cousins could have been in with the 1825 group, to Peterboro. Have not made any definate connections as of yet. So, don't know much about the 1825 group and where they went to in ensuring years. There is quite a bit written about the 1825 group however. Some available at the Peterborough, Ontario Historical site and in the book called "The Peter Robinson Settlers, 1823/25" by Caroll Bennett. Hope this helps.
Nancy
