Elizabeth (Sweet) Lahey b. c1820 married her second husband Walter W. Gladstone 9 Dec 1856 in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Elizabeth and Walter give Lancaster (Saint John) as their residences.

Religion is Wesleyan. Elizabeth was born in Nova Scotia, Walter in England.

Witnesses were: Charles Lahey and Christiann Lahey, husband and wife. Charles is strong candidate for brother to Elizabeth. This family were still in Lancaster by 1871 and moved to Grand Manan, New Brunswick by 1881. Ch: Rebecca, Jepson, Emily, Mary A., George and Milton.
Others in same household include James, his wife Eliza and son George and mother Mary. James is likely brother to Charles and son of Mary. Entire household give Presb. Ch. L.P. as religion. L. P. stands for Lower Province(s).

Does any of this sound familiar?
