Peter Lahey/Leahy 1870 Newfoundland

Peter Lahey was my g-grandfather who was born in St. John's, Newfoundland and lived in Cape Broyle, Newfoundland. He moved to Fortune Harbour, Newfoundland in the late 1800's (c. 1880). He married Julia Carey and had one son, Patrick.

The 1921 Census shows a "Peter Lahey" living in Fortune Harbour, NF. An 1898 Directory Census, lists a "Paeter Leahy".

I have been told (not confirmed) that Peter had two brother's, all of which came from Cape Broyle, Newfoundland - William and Tom.

Peter Died on Jan 13, 1944.

I am very interested in finding out more about Peter and his origin. I would appreciate any information that anyone might have that could shine further light on this subject.
