Just bought a book in which Charles Coleman Laing is mentioned as one of a party of people enjoying a holiday on the Norfolk Broads. The book is entitled "A week on the rivers Bune, Ant & Thurne and was privately published in 1894. Charles is mentioned as " a great uncle mentioned as a "great uncle and keeper of this watery record" - presumably that he kept notes that were used to formulte the eventual text of the book? With him on this trip, and mentioned also in the foreward are the folowing people Alexandra Isabel Cunynghame, Arthur Hardinge David Cunynghame (husband of Alexandra)and one Sidney Joseph Pollard. The book tells a lovely story of their week on the Broads. Hope the dates and names connect in some way for you, regards, John McCarron
