Marie-Cathrine GUILLEMOT's husband was Gabriel PAILLÉ, not "PAILLARD". See, in message Numb. 24, the follwing para.:
"The couple François GUILLEMOT dit LaLande and Madeleine DUPONT did have a daugther born on n Sept 8, 1696 [the date you mention as that of the birth of « Mathurine »] in Montreal, but according to the church certicicate she was baptized as « Marie-Catherine », and NOT « Marie-Mathurine ». That same Marie-Catherine GUILLEMOT married Gabriel PAILLÉ on Apr 15, 1717 in Montreal. That couple had at least 14 children, the last of which was born in 1738. She died on Aug 6, 1739 in Montreal , and was survived by PAILLE".
PAILLÉ was the son of Léonard PAILLÉ and Louise VACHON, and a "master carpenter".
