Laliberty in Post WWII Paris

I have a picture from about 1946-1947, which is when my dad was stationed with the USAF in the Paris area. There are five men in front of what appears to be a military truck and on the back is an inscription, which reads:

“The Gas House Gang”

LaLiberty – Welding
Scott – Heavy Equipment
The Arab – Black Marketer De-Lux
Hagler – Radio Maintenance
Clarke – Air Corps Supply (What you want we ain’t got)

I am posting this here because of the Laliberty name. My dad died a few years ago and this picture looks like it has a story to tell! If anyone can connect with this picture, or identify anyone, or tell me about the unit they were stationed in, I would be most grateful.

Regards,
Teresa
