I also have that registry on the first metis nation. The Antoine you refer to was my gr gr grandfather. I was born in St. Norbert Manitoba and my Laliberte ancestors homesteaded here. Pierre Laliberte's father was Francois Colin dit Laliberte and he was married to M-Louise Briquet. This Francois had brothers called Louis and Joseph amongst others. These names seem to follow from one generation to another. I have to go now but I will contact you, through the forum, another day. I'm sure we can straighten this out eventually.
