Hi Barb
This is what I have found out so far: Your dit name is "LAINE" the E has an acute accent and is pronounced "ay", therefore we are not related. Your gggrmother Seraphine married Theodore CHABOT on June 28,1880 at Ste.Victoire, Quebec. Theo was the son of Flavien and Angeline Samson. Flavien and Angeline were married on Nov. 10, 1840 at Levis Quebec. Flavien was the son of Francois and Charlotte Lacasse. Angeline was the daughter of Louis and Felicite Corneau.Francois married Charlotte on 22 Oct. 1805 at St.Charles Bellechasse Quebec.Francois was the son of Jean-Baptiste and Marie Lacasse. Charlotte was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste and Charlotte de Beaumont.
I ran out of time and could not find anything about location and date of Francois Laliberte and Lucie Chaine(the E here is also pronounced "ay") marriage. Will try again later on.
Keep in touch.
