LaLonde-LaLone Family Name

Has anyone considered making this forum and the LaLone forums one as LaLonde-Lalone? It appears from reading
postings in both groups that some part of the LaLonde Family from Canada moved to the United States in the mid-late
1800's and are all most likely related except for someone Anglicizing the French LaLonde name stemming from Jean
LaLonde in France.

My interest in all this? My wife, Anita's family on her mother's side is Woods, and great grandfather George Sanford
LaLone went with and took the Woods family name when he was about 15 years old. G.S. LaLone-Woods was born in
Albany New York, Nov. 22, 1854.

Hey, I'm only a facilitator here.
Thank you all!
