Searching for information on Donald Edward LaLone born June 2, 1855 in Ogdensburg, NY and died September 10, 1927 in Burkley, KY. On his death certificate -- mother was Annie A. Carson (Canada) and father was Joe LaLone (France or NY). Have no more info on his father. His mother married Charles A. Carson of Delware Co., NY abt. 1871 and moved to Clinton, Iowa -- where they had 3 children. Donald was listed in census records for Clinton, Iowa and married Sarah J. ?. They had one son named Clarence Otis born 1877 in Iowa. The family came to KY by a shanty boat down the Mississippi River around 1900. Any information will be appreciated.
