There was a James Lamberton in Cumberland Co.,PA who according to Family Search LDS he was b. in N. Ireland Aug. 1750 m. Ursula Wood. They are buried in the Old Graveyard, Carlisile, Cumberland Co.,PA. They were connected to the Silver Spring Presbyterian Church. Name spelled Lamberton with no (S). Most Lamberson, Lammason, Lamison, etc. have a (S) in thier name and belong to the Dutch Reformed Church.
