Pat. Thanks for the information. I have information on the Patton and Harrel lines only because of their connection to my Davidson line so I really haven't tried to run those lines. But it is interesting to see them in census in close proximity to my line which is through Cyrus Davidson, a half brother to Ann.
The Davidson's came to Barry County from Perry Co., TN in about 1853 or 1854. Sarah Lamberson Davidson was the stepmother to Cyrus. She was the daughter of Lawrence and Sarah Lamberson and I believe Lawrence was the wagon master for a large group who came to that area.
Trying to fit everyone together is like working a giant picture puzzle where one of the pieces then connects to another puzzle. I just want to complete my own puzzle and it is frustrating. But those other lines help to clarify so that is why I have basic information.
I think most of the Davidsons are buried in Rocky Comfort Cemetery. The census shows most of them living in the Richwood Twp of McDonald County, but from what I can tell, they were right on the Barry/McDonald county lines. Later, some went to Newton County to the Fairview community.
