LAMBERSON FAMILY AS IRON WORKERS
Posted by: Carole Hacker (ID *****3475) Date: October 19, 2004 at 20:39:47

Seeking any information about the Lamberson family that were iron workers. My 3 greatgrandmother, Hannah Lamberson, was born 1786 in Pine Grove Furnace, PA and came with her parents Jeremiah (died in the 1820's) & Mary (?) to Shenandoah County, VA. Her father worked as an iron worker in the furnaces. Believe they came with Benjamin Blackford (iron works owner)and may have working connections with the Arthur Family (also iron furnace owners). A John and Richard Lamberson are located in the Shenandoah area at this time. Any info helpful! Thanks, Carole
