No, I'm sure your not missing anything. I did not have the deposition in front of me; sorry. I did look at the microfilmed records awhile back, but couldn't really tell what it said. I think it would be great if we could find Jacob to be a son. I have just gotten so leary of everything that is not solidly documented. Too much so. I will work on remembering that everything may be at the very least a good clue!

Even my orginal family records show "probably other children" for Lawrence. I just double checked the 1790 census and it showed Lawrence as head of household and five males under the age of 16, and three females. John W., Lawrence, and Conrad would be under 16. Peter was probably not born. So, it would look like we do have another male born between 1774 and 1790 not accounted for. Christina Fite Lamberson, Christina, and Esther would be the three females. I agree, this is worth some serious looking at. Thanks, Judy
