Rita....yes we know of the city Lamberton,MN. My husband's ancestors moved to MN from PA. One of them, Henry Wilson Lamberton, his great great uncle,was the mayor of Winona, MN in 1881/1882 and was also appointed land commissioner in 1866 and very involved in politics and banking. Henry's brother, Alfred John Lamberton(my husband's great great grandfather)b in 1826 in PA, settled in Saint Peter, MN and was a prominent merchant. I have not found the direct connection to Michigan yet, but we know it exists since a living relative in MN told us that his family came to MN via Michigan from PA. Will keep you posted.
