Question/Information about Lamberson

My Great Grandmother was a Lamberson, she lived in the Ringtown, PA area (Northeastern, PA, in Schuylkill County). My Father always told me about one of her brothers, Amos R. Lamberson, who fought in the Civil Way (Union), and after the war was a peace officer and fought the Molley McGuires. His obit. (which I believe I have somewhere...he died in about 1934 in his 90s) reviewed his long life. He is mentioned in the 1881 History of Schuylkill County, including a short description of a "gun battle" as a peace officer while in Ringtown. My Father said that the Lambersons were from Wales...any comments on this? Regards and many thanks, Vic Foose (formerly from Nuremberg, PA...northern tip of Schuylkill County...now in the Washington, D.C. suburbs...in Virginia. (vicfoose@aol.com) 6/1/98
