Denise--get in touch with me directly at my e-mail address:

I have more information than you may want!!!

No way to post it all here, or even by e-mail (my em-mail shuts off with no warning after about 2 minutes typing). Have got "snail mail-able" facts for you---

Master George Lamberton was a "ghost" sea captain, reported on by Rev. Cotton Mather (and written about in a Longfellow poem).

I am 9-times great grandson of Shubael Painter and Mercy Lamberton. (I descend from THREE of the Lamberton sisters).

Shubael, a semi-adulterer and purported sheep rustler, was a chip off the old block. His dad Thomas was publicly whipped for refusing to have his youngest child baptized, causing an enraged Governor Winthrop to DIRECTLY QUOTE mouthy Tom Painter in his diary. Alllll sorts of info awaits you.

Which child of Mercy Painter and Edward Allen do you descend from? best regards, cousin Rick
