Leaving out the spouses, the line goes like this: Hugh Capet, King of France... Edith of France... Beatrix of Hainault... Alice of Roucy... Margaret of Montdidier... Adeliza of Clermont... Richard de Clare... Roger de Clare... Aveline de Clare... Hawise FitzGeoffrey... Alice de Mohun... Sir Humphrey de Beauchamp... Eleanor Beauchamp... John Bampfield, Jr... John Bampfield, III... Thomas Bampfield... Agnes Bampfield... Richard Prowse... John Prowse... Robert Prowse... John Prowse... John Prowse, Jr... Agnes Prowse... Thomas Trowbridge. I have found this line in two different books. One is called 'The Royal Decents of 500 Immigrants to the American Colonies' by Gary Boyd Roberts and the other is 'Ancestral Roots of Certain American Colonists who came to America before 1700' by Frederick Lewis Weis.
